Happy Chinese New Year

Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous lunar new year.
May the year of the dog brings health, wealth, love, and peace to all of you!

By the way, I learned from a Korean friend in the beginning of the year that the Koreans celebrate the lunar new year as well. The new year greeting is 새해복많이받으세요 (sae hae bok mani badeuseyo), which means something like "receive many blessings for the new year".

While I was in Oregon back in January 2003, a Vietnamese friend taught me the phrase "Chuc Mung Nam Moi". That's the greeting for Tet, i.e. the Vietnamese lunar new year. He taught me the tone of the pronunciation as well.

Gong Xi Fa Cai !!!
